Resolutions for Gamers

Did you forget to make New Year’s Resolutions this year? Do you want a few more to round out your list? Here are some suggestions for gamers looking for a little self-improvement:

  • I resolve to put living expenses such as rent and groceries before game purchases. Even when the game is really, really cool.
  • I will not say “cry more, n00b” to misbehaving children, no matter how great the temptation.
  • I resolve to clean up my miniatures promptly after staging epic battles on the floor – being stepped on is not good for the miniatures, and stepping on them is not good for feet.
  • I will take regular breaks from my MMORPGs for exercise. Walking to the refrigerator does not count.
  • I resolve not to do ostentatious victory dances when I totally beat my friends/significant other/family members.
  • I will endeavor to collect no more dice than I have storage space for.
    • LOLGAMERS

The next contest won’t be for a few months, but you can send in your own original LOLGAMERS in the meantime! Just email them to lolgamers [at] theirisnetwork [dot] org - if they’re funny, we’ll add them to our gallery and feature them on The Back Page.
