A Gamer’s Love Sonnet
Across the screen I see my lady fair,
With bright sparkling eyes, and strawberry lips,
And the scent of coconuts in her hair.
She has delicate fingers, curving hips,
Skin so soft it puts silk to shame. She moves
With grace in ev’rything. And when she speaks –
Ah, sometimes, my name! – her dulcet voice proves
More lovely, more pure than the sighs and creaks
Of any common symphony. My heart
Is snared in her laughing net, and has been
Since the day we met. When we are apart,
I cannot breathe until we meet again.I run to her side, faster and faster…My lady, my love, my Dungeon Master.
